Embellished labels, previously produced using screen printing and hot foil stamping, can now be produced using digital varnishing and metallization.

Unlike conventional processes, digital enhancement can be used profitably to produce short and mid-runs. In addition, the new digital technology makes it possible to achieve embellishment effects that were not possible with the previous analog processes.
